Often referred to as one of the most passionate DJs and Producers in the industry, Tranzit has entered the next level. Introduced to music at a very early age; Tranzit spent the last 12 years perfecting his technique at night clubs across country. The Orange County native finally found his home in Scottsdale where he is simply known as "Arizona's Best Dance DJ". Using Arizona as a launch pad, Tranzit spent the last year traveling 4 continents, 5 countries and over 15 cities including stops in: Egypt, Kuwait, California, New York and Las Vegas. Known for his versatility, Tranzit has the ability to rock big room crowds with hard, dark and dirty electro sets; and is also capable of inspiring intimate crowds with progressive house sets that move the soul. Tranzit's local, national, and international performances have provided him with an opportunity to play alongside some of the biggest names in Dance Music including: Paul Oakenfold, ATB, Bad Boy Bill, Wolfgang Gartner, Shapeshifters, Antoine Clamaran, LMFAO, Kaskade, Miles Dyson, Bart B More, and Eric Prydz, just to name a few. Hissignature move, "The Air CDJ" was coined by Eric Morillo and showcased on housemusictv.com for over 7000 viewers. He has earned his spot among an elite list of DJ's and producers to come out of Arizona including Sandra Collins, Markus Schulz, DJ Z-Trip and Eddie Amador.
His production work with studio partner Dooz, is receiving international attention. Their first EP "Nothing but a Dancer" featuring "2 Reds Please" were released on 12 Inch Recordings out of Germany. "Obsession", a seductive progressive tune was signed to Ron Reeser's label, Jetset Music, in San Francisco. Charted by DJs like Colette, "Obsession" was recently played for over 5 million listeners on DJ Riddler's Adrenaline Mix show for Sirius Radio. Their fourth project, a remix of Plasma Record's, "Nightmare" recently made the German labels Top 10 List on Beatport.com. "I Used To" was released on Purple Edge Recordings and has over 6 remixes available on Beatport.com. Their latest remix of Miles Dysons tune "Hearts Under Fire" featuring Lea Luna has just been signed by Sony Musics sub label Moist for DJ Exodus's mix compliation which also features tracks by Tiesto, Diplo, and Starkillers just to name a few.
Tranzit's latest project, "Chronicles of a DJ" documents his travels and avdentures while on tour. Think of Travel channel meets DJ. This online documentary encompasses everything from music to culture to food. With popularity gaining all over the world, this shows to be the DJs biggest acomplishment next to his studio work.
Although Tranzit is dedicated to performing on the road he loves coming home to work on his monthly mix show "Disorganized" and to perform at some of the biggest local events and nights. "I love to travel but I will never forget the people who have helped me get to where I am today. There really is no place like home."
