His traded mark Remixes, mega mixes and his own tracks have made Tone Def a household name amongst club goers. Tone Def’s acute ear for music has also seen him become a specialist in audio mastering thanks to internet
Working with the likes of international record companies, deejay remix services and also working with compilations such as jimmyz 4play cd's and mix compilations. Tone who is both known for his skills on the decks as much as for his talents in the studio is becoming one of Queensland’s great dj entertainers. Tone is also credited with Remixing tracks for nova radio stations and hot FM also working with some of Australia’s best dj's from as far back as the late 90’s was playing house music in most of the best night Clubs around and still has regular residencies all over. He has Also had allot of input in chart predictions state and nationally starting in the 90’s on the dmi international club play charts. In 89 was asked to Enter in the Queensland dmc dj remixing competition live with a third place. Tone has had an array of success working in nightclubs up and down the east coast of Queensland. Tone’s tracks have proven to be Popular across Queensland which is why he is in demand deejaying regularly allover. He has also been support dj for Sneaky Sound System, Bass Kleph, Vandalism, Mobin Master, and The Potbelleez and mixed with Jimmyz 4play, Nick Skitz, Kid Kenobi, The Stafford Brothers, Emily Scott, Bexta Kronic, Baby Gee, and many more. From raves – festivals – and clubs music has and will always be a major part of his life.
Tone now finds himself remixing and producing his own tailor made tracks. Tone is a dynamic workaholic whose unbeatable selection of music never fails to result in screams on the dance floor. When asked about the scene and his success he humbly shies away from the public eye of the music industry, Tone points out that his passion for playing live and watching a packed dance floor of happy club goers enjoying themselves is his motivation. He said after all that's the biggest buzz of all going home at the end of the night knowing that you are responsible for hundreds of people having a good night out.
Tone def is also a firm believer in listening to the comments of his fans because they are the ones who matter most to him and judging by his growing fan base Tone Def seems to be doing everything just right. Tone Def has definitely paved the way for newcomers following his lead and is constantly on a creative whirlwind on the search for the sounds of the future for us all to enjoy.
