John Bergerud also known as Shwann is an EDM (Electronic Dance Music) DJ residing in San Antonio, Texas. John's alter ego "SHWANN: The Futuristic Samurai DJ" is a signature character that was spawned to juxtapose from the A-typical ubiquitous "DJ photo". SHWANN also represents the diversity of John's passion for the Asian culture, the sci-fi film genre, and his love for unique and fantasy/comic oriented art.

"I've always tried to think outside of the box and look at every situation from my unique point of view... to me DJing isn't only just about my love of music, it's about combining all the things in my life that bring enjoyment to myself and others through the experience."

Currently Shwann is working on several projects to further his DJ career, he recently played at Cowboys Dance Hall with world famous Dutch musician, DJ and record producer, TIESTO (this event featured over 4,000 people in attendance), and his expansion of the ever-growing SHWANN Universe. Stay tuned for more developments on four new original characters: GOH-GOH: The Cyber-Ninja DJ, The Apex Twins: Fader & Cue, and Overlord REMIX... PLUS, many more related concepts.
