Christian Borgmann aka DJ Samsara was born in 1988, on a small island in the southern part of Denmark. But now lives in the northern part, where he has lived most of his life His first contact with electronic music was around 2003 and later in 2005 he discovered psychedelic trance, which immediately caught his attention.

As the interest of this newly found genre grew and after attending several parties and festivals in- and outside Denmark, he decided to jump behind the decks himself and give Djing a try. In 2008 he got his first gig and after that, he has played more or less in every corner of Denmark and in countries like Germany and Turkey.

In 2011 he signed up with 2 psychedelic trance labels, Damaru Records based in Germany and Vantara Vichitra Records based in India.

It was not only psychedelic trance music, which caught his fascination, electronic chill out was the other sub genre that did too. After some years with many thoughts of playing chill out aswell, he met the chill out DJ and producer Erot (Tore Mortensen) who inspired him to start. In 2011 the two friends created a chill out project “Erot & Samsara” that already, short after the initiation, joined the DJ team of the Canadian based label, Altar Records and so did he with his solo project as well.
