Over the past years Dj Ruki has virtually become a phenomenon in mixing House Music and Mashups. Building a respectable portfolio , DJ Ruki has provided sets at venues the likes of Paacha, Bond, Embassy, Kings Club, Ministry of Sound, Aura , Amika and much more.
His rich musical past as a DJ & Producer is what sets him apart as one of the “House” scene’s elite.
Primarily due to his unique ability to mix various styles and genres together effortlessly and without compromise, DJ Ruki can often strike an awe of genius. "Music is my blood running through my vains, and possibly the air I breathe. If im not listening to music that means I'm asleep" . This from his fans gained a nickname Mr Geniousity- Equal parts genius and generosity- Sharing his genius with others. These traits along with his energetic presence has lead him to break boundaries within the industry, crediting numerous opportunities, love and respect.

Taking this all into account, his current success and skills, DJ Ruki is still persistent in self development. "I may be called Ruki but I have advanced since being a rookie" The name was implanted by his uncle at a young age, almost as a reminder that to be the best he can be he has to continue to challenge himself as if he was still a rookie learning day in and day out. This clearly shows in the work he produces.

Dj Ruki was born in 1988 in Matara (Sri Lanka) , being an immigrant to the UK in the early years of his childhood , he found music as his comfort. Listening almost religiously he found a love for House music. This later grew into curiosity of being a House DJ. And from then on Djing has become his passion.

Having plans "to have my name all over the world" DJ Ruki has a very exciting, pleasurable, prospering journey ahead of him. "Wherever I go, if I haven't made a wicked experience for my friends and fans then I haven't done a good job. My career as a DJ is nothing without them. They help me progress and develop through their continuous love and support ".
