DJ Pollux Star fell in love with music when he began studying the trombone at the age of 10. For the next 15+ years, his appreciation for music grew as he was exposed to a wide spectrum of genres; from classical to jazz to ska reggae and everything in between. As his mastery of his instrument grew, so did his exposure to solo and feature opportunities. These opportunities sparked a new found passion for entertaining audiences which later propelled him into the world of deejaying.

As a Panamanian born, Brooklyn raised artist, he calls upon his diverse cultural background as he seamlessly infuses hip hop, rock, 80's, house, top 40, reggae, soca, latin and soul into his mixes. DJ Pollux Star has an innate ability to set the tone for any venue and connect with all audiences. He's notorious for captivating his audience through his musical intuition and uncanny technical ability.
