Osvaldo’s quest for style is restless.
Feeling like growing and learning, his musical passion has always pushed him forward, even in starting as a DJ. Later on, his steady commitment lead him to become also a producer, obtaining qualification at Milan’s SAE and being on remixing and mastering courses. Beyond technical practice, Osvaldo has been experiencing dance floor for 20 years.
His musical vision includes house, deep, soul and 70’s funky, and it’s fed by a wide range of electronic music. Osvaldo loves to sweep between genres in which identify him, even for just one beat.
Technical skill in addition to dance scene knowledge is what makes the difference in this Digital Age, and Osvaldo has been living electronic music since its introduction in Italy.
Osvaldo began experiencing some clubs in vogue in the 90’s, pushing the Pescafresca brand that lead him in exclusive environments entering. He started soon to play live performances during fashion shows for haute couture and events for some of the most important Italian fashion designers and brands like Armani, Dolce&Gabbana, Roccobarocco, Ungaro, Roberto Cavalli, Iceberg, Pomellato, and at important shows like Miss Italia, Milano Unica, to name a few. He showed an attitude for this world right from the beginning getting soon a regular guest/director at Dsquared2 after shows. In recent times he had a gig at the opening event of Milan’s Hotel Armani, a huge acknowledgement for the fashion planet, which often takes an eye out for refined sounds. In addition, this gig gave Osvaldo the possibility to express him completely, from Morricone’s masterpieces to actual electronic tracks and to create imaginary worlds to live in. Since the opening, Osvaldo signed a continuous collaboration with Armani Hotel Milano, from May 2012 and still running, to select music from the fabulous venue on the seventh floor of the building in Milan. To fulfill a successful 2011, Osvaldo has taken part to Rosario Fiorello’s after show at Cinecittà Studios in Rome. Anyway, there are not just gala events for Osvaldo, being active in Italian club scene with gigs in cult clubs, he keeps an artistic residence even et the Armani Privé in Milan, where he spins club music, house, NuDisco and Soul each thursday night.
As a producer, he prefers house and deep genres; some of his productions have been released on the Spanish Alma Soul Records and Berliner Stab Recordings, labels focused on those sounds.
Osvaldo is not even just a DJ, live performer and electronic music producer; he works also in audio direction, design/achievement of audio/video systems, computer lighting/FX, and technical&creative production of artistic happenings and charity events for non-profit organizations.
Style is made mostly by substance, and Osvaldo knows this for sure.
