About

DJ Mr John
Born in the 60’s just outside London, Mr John has been around the dance
and club movement from the early days. His sounds have progressed over
the years; touring around Australia in the late 90’s his music tastes
where more Electronica with influences drawn from Shpongle and Paul
Kerny, but after returning to the UK in 2003 he found himself on the
house trail. In 2004/05 he could be found playing around London, mainly
Hoxton and Shorditch, where venues such as the Light Bar and Jam were
among the favourites.
Mr John says “there have been a few people in my life that have both
influenced and taught my a great deal, none more than Sonny Massy (dunk
the funk) and DJ Alistair,
who I hope will join me on the show as guests from time to time.”
Just back from a nine-month tour of Thailand, Malaysia and Myanmar,
were he headlined at the world famous MTF Dive pool party along side DJ
Boy, (who is fast becoming the most influential young DJ in Thailand).
As well as playing the largest full moon party of the year on Koh Pha
Ngan, numbers reaching 30,000, Mr John is now ready to attack the
London scene again with his deep electro, tech house sounds
