Ilkka Kurkela is a drum’n'bass & ambient producer & DJ known as Mineral. Originally from Finland, now living in New York, Mineral has been hooked to jungle/drum’n'bass since 1996/1997. His tracks have been played by worldwide by DJs like Bulb (Russia), Goreteks (USA), Ben XO (UK) Mauoq (Italy/UK), Nitrous (Canada) Audite & Wintermute (Germany), and Fanu, Resound, Trisector, LAOS, Esc, Wispy (Finland), and many many others.
