Rolando Durand, better known as Madness, was raised in New Jersey. He developed an ear for music at the age of 15 when he went to a local party in his area and discovered his love for music. He would spend hours in his studio working on mixes and practicing. It wasn't long until he met a resident DJ from the famous Club in New York City, Webster Hall, who taught him to be creative and unique. His style of mixing is different than many other DJ's that are out now. Anything related to music could be played and edited live in a MADNESS mix set. He has the golden touch when it comes to music. Coming from a Latin background, and raised listening to Spanish instruments, he quickly incorporated that in 2006 when he created his first remix track "Sunglasses at Night" a track that was played by many big DJ's in the tri-state area. Electronic music has played a huge role in his life where he was influenced by many great producers such as Laidback Luke, Deadmau5, Hardwell, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Dada Life, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Afrojack, R3hab, Sander Van Doorn, and many more.
