MY love for House/tribal etc. started back in 1987 when I first visited Red Zone, NY. The muzilk was so good and people where in a circle dancing and battling one another.(it was not break dancing)...The fashion and quality of life was surreal. At that time it was DJ Dimirty....That was the first time I heard ACID CRASH and ska muzik.....I never knew then how the DJ was playing the muzik, had no clue...However, this 2012....and the art of DJ has advance to a point I never imaged....MY MK2 console is top notch....I no longer use vinyl or turntables...but let me make it clear I use four virtual CDJ's......and skillfully..... Today, NY has changed to Corp. club politics with expensive Bottle service, shady door host and out touch promoters....The Dollar is what its all about not the muzik...Thank God for Pacha....the true only real club left in NY...otherwise, NY would be hone to one track mainstreaming loving heads....
I started my career in 1995 when I was introduced to art of DJ by a female who taught me the method. God Bless her(chie)...I met her at Sound Factory when Junior Vasquez was spinnin....Now Junior had a skill set that I haven't since matched by no over...His ability to recreate remixes live in his set with excellent Sampling abilities that to this day is closely guarded secret...However, I have a great understanding of this...I spent 10 years on his dancefloor..from Sound Factory, to Arena, Twilo,Tunnel, USA etc....Other great DJ's was present such as Danny, Merrit (Cheetahs/Buddah Bar)...Later arrivals such as Peter Rauhofer and Victor Calderone(Roxy)...who was also at Junior parties...and If I missed any others..respects to you....
So I was forged on the Dancefloor, and my dancing skills express that....Now I have come full term with this art and seek you as an audience....My focus is production....this is my passion...an outlet for someone who can't sing....I'm still learning and I will produce a hit....since this is the only method to bang heads with the big boys in this industry......I determined and will succeed at all cost.....
My goal is to leave NY and make it elsewhere then return with a ferocity.....
