Lovado aka Roy Lochtman was born in the city of Heerlen in the south of Holland.
Rhythm has always been in his blood and it was apparent at an early age that experimenting with music was going to be his great passion. At the age of fifteen he started experimenting and mixing dance/house music. After another 2 years of mixing and experimenting this genre music, he was ready to show the people… ready to show the world what he got…

He started to make mash ups and bootlegs of in that time famous house tracks with commercial top 40 music. Many DJ’s played it, but in the crowd, no one really knew it was his. Then the ball really started to roll in 2009. In August of that year he moved to Breda to go study. Breda, the city of dance and house music with it’s famous DJs like Tiesto, Funkerman, Shermanology, Fedde le Grand, R3hab and don’t forget our newest very big talent Hardwell. He knew this city could offer him a lot, not only for his study, but also for his biggest passion: music!
After 1 year of partying, connecting and playing his music in clubs and parties in Breda and his hometown Heerlen, he discovered that the study he was following, not really was his thing. He quitted the study and followed his heart and passion.
Now in 2013, he already did a lot of gigs and he’s making more and more progress in the house scene by making bootlegs, remixes and tracks.

So, don’t expect Lovado to sit still for one minute. His constant search for new musical challenges combined with his energy and enthusiasm leaves us expecting great things from this upcoming DJ/Producer.
