My obsession with Psytrance was primed through early exposure to a variety of Goth Industrial, Rave, and Club nightlife I experienced in California and Arizona in the mid-to late 90's. Around 1997 the Goa Trance vibe first abducted my ear and inspired to me to DJ thanks in large part to spinners of the era like KJ, Daniel Moontribe, Theo, & Terminus, and stellar Goa producers across the pond like Darshan, Hallucinogen, & X-Dream.

In 1999 I broke out of the bedroom and started DJing at renegade Arizona desert parties for The Desert Trance Society. DTS was where I met Hahn the Barbarian, and Dr. Bones and founded the Overmind (www.overmindworks.org) Arizona's decade spanning ground zero of desert Psytrance culture. In my few recent years residing in Tucson I helped connect a nexus for an international Darkpsy scene with Secret Vision Psychedelic Sonora, I became one of the first musical mainstays of the ongoing burner weekly: Wednesday Fire Church, and I helped kicked off Tucson's Dark Spring Dance Collective a multi-genre EDM event cooperative. https://www.facebook.com/DarkSpringDanceCollective
