Ishiyama (Scott Landriault) was born in march '87 and was raised in BC. Music has been a passion and major influence all throughout his life, and in the last 5 years
Electronic Music has been the larger influence. When Ishiyama was introduced to electronic music it all changed.
Looking for a place to showcase the local djs talent Ishiyama and other djs trecked out generators, loudspeakers, lights and party people into the forests of
chilliwack BC. In these forests their parties would go on till the early hours of the morning... It was a turning point, after putting on these shows there was no
going back from dance music and the party scene.
As he felt more and more rooted to the music he moved to Vancouver to be closer to the scene.
Over the last few years he's been heavily promoting all great shows in Vancouver and pushing his djing to the next level.
Soon after getting into the promoting business, the opportunity to dj at these shows opened up.
Ishiyama has had the honor to open for such acts as:
Spencer & Hill, Paul Oakenfold, Dada Life, Digitalism, Calvertron, Zeds Dead, Dieselboy, Bare, Smash Gordon, Dirty Phonics, Mt Eden, Cookie Monsta, Funtcase, Adroa,
Bar9, Dodge & Fuski, and Sluggo. And I'm excited to open for many more in the near future!
Aside from promoting and performing he's recently finished an electronic music production program, and
now spends countless hours in his home studio producing house, electro, dubstep and everything in between…
