thank you for taking the time to listen!
a bit about me: i became a fan of house music shortly after picking up a paul oakenfold cd and then seeing/meeting him later that night. as i stood about 5 feet behind him with a massive arena in front of me, my life was changed - my goal became to make a crowd feel what i felt that day...pure joy.
i started messing about with vinyl shortly thereafter while living in new york. after coming back to san francisco in 2005 i took up music more seriously. practice makes perfect as the cliche goes so i just kept playing, kept making mistakes, and kept learning more and more. funny how i listen to some of my earliest mixes and pick up on all those mistakes...
today, i find myself a big fan of deep and funky house. i love jazzy instruments in tracks and a bit of your transcendent melodic tunes. sometimes my mixes are geared toward a chill environment, but i have also been know to rock out a bar/lounge/club...it just depends on my mood and the music that falls in my lap that day.
little by little i am expanding my network here in san francisco and looking to play out more and spread the love i have for a good house beat. ill keep posting mixes as they come. sometimes it will be a sunday afternoon impromptu mix, other times it will be something like flo.lax...a great and exciting collaboration.
