About
Gary Howard aka DJ Hydrophonix age 25 has been producing music for about 8 years, originally from NY then transplanted to New Jersey at the age of 7 it wasnt till about 11 years later that he made his first beats on a playstation game. Deciding that he liked what he has created he took his workspace to the actual computer and slowly began learning how to make music on his own. With no formal electronic music education, aside from some tutelage from fellow producer Audicid a few years later, he began working on his first cd called Neptune's Palace, and interesting album based on aqua notes and interesting synths. Many found a fondness in how his music was akin to many of their old favorite video games, such as Sonic The Hedgehog and Street Fighter. From there arose a sophomoric album, A Digital Epiphany. This album was his epiphany at the marvel of of different types of electronic music. Not yet being able to fully understand all aspects of music the album was built better with even more new sub genres and inflections, but still hadn't reached out to even higher levels of professional sound yet. It was then that he switched up his programs and essentially his style, no longer just ranging from breakbeat to electro, dnb and jungle, he started working on some trance, psy, and progressive house tunes. his third album PyroHydroKenesis was born, with a whole array of newly different feelings and textures it was one of his more creative albums to that date. Not long after than a fourth album Arctic Inferno was produced, similar in creativity to Pyrohydrokenesis but more tame in overall tune and a shorter cd with only 6 tracks, about half the normal length of his other albums. Now working on his fifth Album entitled Black Lights and Rave Nights hes setting the scene for something truly spectacular and yet still classy. He has recently moved to California in order to pursue bigger and better dreams and is hoping to get more fame and fortune.
