Mosca Verde is a bloke you're bound to be fond of.
A curious, furious dabbler whose only wish is to bring the dancefloor to its hottest climax.
"I really got into powerful nasty mixsets that have a lot a puff, that smell like sweat and make you shake your ass off", he says.
"My sets have even been said to be violent !" Mosca Verde - also known as Dj Greenfly - developed his accurate djing skills with the Harlem Funk Trotters, a critically acclaimed group of Djs from the South of France that set Avignon and its surroundings on fire by juggling with soul, indie or hip-hop records.
He later formed the Spitbastards duo with his bandmate Dr Crook and led off several prestigious warmups such as Ghislain Poirier's, Dj Format's, Missil's and Tabour Battant's.
He recently contributed to "Thx For the Add", a conceptual show that involved both a Dj (himself) and a dancer on stage.
"La Mouche Verte" - Greenfly in French - is driven by his love of getting the music "dirty" by blending together odd, unexpected tracks, what gives birth to hot dancefloor-friendly mash-ups. Far from sticking to a single style, he draws inspiration from baile funk, tropicalism, kuduro and dubstep to compose his fire-raising sets he likes to define as "bastard pop".
"Mixing styles together brought about some kind of online schizophrenia...", he adds.
To think everything started with a myspace page that was supposed to be "a first draft" !

MOSCA VERDE é um frances de Avignon(como as demoiseles do Picasso) e é CHEIO de cena ritmadas e dançantes, para, como o próprio diz,'trazer a pista ao seu Climax'! Também conhecido como 'Dj Greenfly' aperta pistas com os Harlem Funk Trotters um grupo de Djs aclamado pela critica pelos seus sets de jungle+soul+indie+hipop.
Após o que formou juntamente com Dr Crook os Spitbastards onde tocaram com nomes tais como Tambour Battant ou o gigante Poirier.
Cheio de história ainda participou num show conceptual que envolvia um Dj(Mosca Verde)+performer em palco,intitulava-se "Thx For the Add".
Descendo á terra e ao que interessa: Dj SETS= A preferência é o eclético! misturas de estilos como baile funk, tropicalismo, kuduro e dubstep..definido pelo mesmo como sendo "bastard pop".
Produção= A mistura empina a pipa! tudo o referido acima versão original!

Mosca Verde es un experimentado DJ frances, integrante del duo Spitbastards junto a Dr Crook, que entre otras cosas hizo warm up para artitas de la talla de Poirier y DJ Format.
Con todo ese ímpetu saca su primer trabajo compuesto de producciones, remixes y mash ups, de corte Tropical Bass.
Un misil para incendiar la pista de baile!

"Mosca Verde est un mec comme on les aime, un touche à tout foutraque qui n'a qu'une envie, faire monter la température sur la piste de danse !
Il a expérimenté plus ou moins tout ce qu'il était possible de faire à Avignon, avec son collectif Les Harlem Funk Trotters, son duo SpitBastards et sa participation à des spectacles tels que Thx For Add.
Il a également eu la chance d'assurer quelques warm up's prestigieux, tels que ceux de Ghislain poirier, Dj Format ou encore Missil et Tambour Battant.
Ce qui l'anime, c'est de "salir" la musique en tentant des mélanges tout feu tout flamme, d'où son amour pour le concept du mashup. Loin de se cantonner dans un style musical précis, il puise pour composer ses sets incendiaires dans le baile funk, le tropicalisme, le kuduro ou le dubstep."
