I first found my love for electronic music back in the break dance days at the age of 7. The movie Break dance was my first exposure to this kind of music and I still remember it blowing me away. I used to watch that movie over and over just for the tracks that were on it. I continued to search for that kind of music through the days of acid house. Finally my first introduction to the early hardcore sound was a Stu Allen set from New Age that a friend gave me on cassette. And so began my love for hardcore.
I finally got my first taste of a rave at the age of 15. Pandemonium @ Mr B's in Willenhall. This experience took my love for the music to another level and it wasn't long til i became interested in being on the other side of the decks. After having some sessions round a few friends houses it was time to buy a set of technics and take things more serious.
In 1999 i got my first taste of performing live @ a night run by myself and two other lads. The night went down well so we decided to make this a regular event and so Terminal Sound was born.
After doing a few Terminal Sound nights a group of Guys going by the name Electric Kingdom approached us. The idea came up for us to join forces and make a bigger event out of it.
The next few years saw us running parties at various venues around the black country booking artists such as ratty, tango, fallout, phantasy, simon bassline smith, & digital to name a few.
Due to the success of these nights i found myself getting more bookings outside of what we were doing. Some of my biggest bookings include a one nation in birmingham, the last two flashbacks also in birmingham, and prob my favourite bookings of all came through phantasy for his & mc skibadee's night devotion which saw me and fellow promoter dj unison going b2b at bagleys and then the coronet shortly afterwards.
i am now part of a group called old skool community and also raiders of the oldskool and renegade radio
