The relative popularity of my first Sly Stone remix (of "Everyday People") inspired me to take on another track by the ground-breaking funk/R&B act. This time I rework "I Want To Take You Higher" by fattening the EQ, rearranging the song structure extensively, and adding in a few mix effects (like backwards and/or looped beats). I lost the first take of this mix to a mysterious computer glitch, and so had to make the whole mix over again from scratch. I think it improved.
