I've always had a dream to be a DJ after following the hardcore scene since Dreamscape & Helter Skelter as a teenager. It was after a serious car crash & life threatening head injuries I was forced to give up a promising football career for a while & then missed my opportunity that I found my new dream. I had never felt such passion before, the bpm & vocals... I was addicted. It was a blessing in disguise. The DJ's mixing, MC's dropping lyrics & then the scratching from both, the ravers stomping with their whistles & horns & the clubs lit up with lasers & strobes... it was heaven to me. So I decided to save up & buy my own decks & mixer & have a go, I never had so much fun. I am a self confessed ''vinyl junkie'' as it teaches a DJ all the skills & techniques they will ever need. ''Real DJ's use vinyl'' is a saying that is so true as all the new CDJ DJ's seem to have little talent & skill as it is all done for them & they don't need to learn much to get in the mix. I find mixing on them takes the fun & challenge away but it has improved the sound quality of the music & they have many features that are effective plus it makes getting hold of new tunes much easier & cheaper as well as improved the technical side & speed of the art. I use both now so I get the best out of both, Love the feel & natural sense of mixing vinyl & also as a scratch DJ I could not imagine life without vinyl or the turntable. My life changed & I chased my dream, moving to Cardiff & creating Serious Sounds to launch myself & DJ, produce my own tunes & promote myself to the public. I have been all over the U.K in up & coming new talent & recently main stage arenas with the best DJ's in the game such as Darren Styles, Endymion, Hixxy & Evil Activities, Sy, Andy Whitby, Gammer etc at events such as Hardcore Heaven, HTID, Bionic, Hardcore Evolution, Ravers Are:, Oxygen & Smithy's B'day Stomp etc. I have also have residencies at Hardcore Evolution, Bionic, Nemesis & Serious Sounds & hope that more will follow. Also produced tunes with Al Storm & Gisbo & all have been signed. I feel I have so much to give to scene as I have so much passion & ideas to be unique with my mixes, scratches & entertaining the dance floor. Thank you to all that have followed & supported me...
