Serie Disko! Nº16 - Flemming Dalum

Ladies. Gentlemen. It's a great honour for us to present you this mix of Mr Flemming Dalum.

Known by many in 1985 as "King of the Cut" for his amazing technique for making stunning megamixes, now, his fame comes from being the greatest collector of Italo Disco in the world.

But most impressive of this Danish isn't his musical wisdom, which it certainly is, but the empathy that occurs with his mixes as in the legendary "The Amazing Run In The Tube", the triple box "Boogie Down" that was published by Magic Waves or in the very recent "The Outer Edge Of 80's Synth" made together to Intergalactic Gary, to Roller Disco Records.

In this 75 minutes that Flemming gives us, he alternates old Italo classics with recent nu disco releases and a lot of unreleased material. He makes us dance like few have succeeded. We are surprised with each new tune. And above all makes it clear that if almost thirty years ago was "The King of the Cut" now certainly there aren't another dj in the world, more than him, must bear the title of "The King of the Synths".

There is only one possible way to describe this mix: MASTERPIECE

Señoras. Señores. Es un grandísimo placer presentarles este mix de Mr. Flemming Dalum. Conocido en 1985 por muchos como The King of the Cut por su técnica asombrosa para hacer impresionantes megamixes, ahora su fama viene por ser, segun dicen, el mayor coleccionista de Italo Disco del mundo.

Pero lo realmente impresionante del danés no es ya su sabiduria musical, que sin duda lo es, sino la empatía que produce con sus mixes como en los ya legendarios "The Amazing Run In The Tube", la caja con los tres "Boogie Down" que firmó para Magic Waves o en el recentísimo "The Outer Edge Of 80's Synth" que ha realizado junto a Intergalactic Gary para Roller Disco Records.

No podía ser menos, y en estos 75 minutos que nos ha regalado, Flemming Dalum, a través de alternar viejos clásicos italo con recientes lanzamientos nu disco y mucho materíal inédito, nos hace bailar como pocos lo han conseguido. Nos sorprende con cada nuevo tema. Y sobre todo nos deja claro que si hace casi treinta años era the King of the Cut, ahora, sin duda no hay dj en el mundo que, más que él, deba ostentar el título de The King of the Synths.

Sólo hay una manera posible de calificar este mix: OBRA MAESTRA
