the background burbly stuff creates interesting cross rhythms and interweavings and it keeps the flow of the track very organic. there is a distinct pattern but it isn't all squared off.. rather, it has finely crafted smooth analog =esque corners. loving it.
one of my favs i played the shit out of the version on rotation. it made me dig deeper for tracks that had similar great taste and style,, kind of reminds me of lazonby.
hey you, use some swing in that sheeat. there is no dynamic tension, no push pull. with a 52% swing or some off time delay, this could be fun to dance to. make some stuff for your drums to talk to each other with. your bass kick is lonely and your arpegiator is a little uptight. let em relax and feel the groove.
@thomasb: had some more ideas based on the arpeggiator.. kind of like adding some drum bits to make the tails or the release of the arps sparkle.. i'll give that a shot next chance i'm free.
like the deetroit stuff here. i'd kind of like to hear more of it in the beginning on its own with a glidey something or another.. along with it. thats just me..

the gruv is sick its very sly and builds tension. it would sound great either slow and deep or fast and technical.
if you were djing this you could fit another track in here. its like a sandwich. `;) interesting mix down.

blown away. very nice and trippy. something you don't get from most cocktail techno these days.
