Dirty Secretz are the DJ / Production duo, J Luv and Richie P. They met in early 2008 after playing at the same club night and from there struck an instant connection with each other, despite being complete opposites on mostly everything. J Luv has been slowly building her reputation on the club scene over the last 10 years and is regarded as being one of the best female DJs in the midlands. Richie’s background is rooted in production where he has spent time refining his skills in the studio and taking his productions to his DJ sets. Together, their strengths and styles compliment each other and have fused to create the unique Dirty Secretz sound.

Their first production “Dirty Funkin House” saw them team up with Welsh rapper JLD and was released on all the major dance music sites on their own label. After hearing a sample of their second single “Drop Tha Beat”, Filthy Rich signed it straight to his label Control Freq and was released with mixes for Rich and James ‘Prok &’ Fitch. Drop Tha Beat has already become the Dirty Secretz anthem. Since then, the duo have spent their time remixing some of the biggest names including Prok’n'Fitch, Dennis Christopher, Filthy Rich, Jamie Fisher, Soulkey’s Project Band and many more. With play support from Robbie Rivera, Kim Fai and airplay from Dave Spoon on Radio 1, their sound is conquering dance floors worldwide.

However, it’s in their DJ sets where their music really comes alive. Their DJ sound is a mixture of funky fresh beats and electro basslines, with the old cheeky classic rearing its head. Their sets are made infamous by their productions, remixes and bootlegs, adding that unique twist each time they play.
