Sébastien Sottile, Matthieu Beaumont
When Sébastien Sottile and Matthieu Beaumont were about 12 years old they were classmates in a little town near Paris.
They were part of a « skateboard team » between friends they called « ZBLU Team » .
Why ? Their friends and they took that strange word in a comic namend « Zblucops » that they hadn’t even read !
But the word always seemed obvious to them, it was their word ! It could mean everything and they were the only ones how could understand each other when saying « zblu ».
Later Sébastien and Matthieu used to play the guitar together but never made a rockband.
They only found their real style of music when they were eighteen, it was Dubstep !
They started to go to every dubstep night in Paris.
And as Matthieu entered a sound engineering school in 2011, they directly had the feeling they had to try making some too.
They started learning how to use softares such as ableton live with every plugins they find.
They add the « Dirty » side to the « Zblu » one and then tried to sound better and at the same time more dirty every time they released new dubstep tracks !
So a year later, they release their first Ep on to-Beat records.
And thanks to Snacksounds Agency, they now start making lives in Paris.
