Dirtpop are Jamie Black (or Jamie Butler to his mum) and Chris McBride...Both Hailing from London and Dorset respectively, we met at a twisted party outside Brighton and became bestest of chums and residents of the Slackers Convention back in 2002. With Jamie now living in New York, and Chris still in the UK, we have decided to embark on the unenviable task of creating a record label (calcium Records) which we can liberally push out our unique and somewhat 'outside the box' electro breaks and electronica.
We have also been remixing for some notable organic and electronic acts. Always up for a remix opportunity so if you like what you hear then get in touch...blah!
