A recent project has led DigitalSymphonix to composing a CNN-style broadcast news theme for radio and television. An entire music suite was composed that comprises of a short initial news theme, and extended segment theme, a very dynamic and rock 'n roll style sports theme, as well as a smooth weather theme that finalizes the suite harmonically and structurally. The overarching approach was along the lines of standard news banners, as well as compositions used for Olympic Games. The result carries an 'American' sound, and is perfect for any news agency.
