alt-classical independent DIY art music
Originally a pure piano-piece, this is breaking in Garitan's Personal Orchestra on Kontakt 4 with a tribute-work-in-progress to one of my favorite Dutch composers; Simeon ten Holt. I think I'm on to something here. What do you think?

@Diex: Thanks for the heads up - I will definitely check out Simeon. I find Philip Glass's music initially exciting and then it usually seems to wane. That is what I meant by my comment - this track has that initial excitement, but continues to develop and is ultimately a much more satisfying piece for that.

@John McLaughlin: Thank you, John. There's definitely some Glass elements in here but is's mainly based on my love for another minimalist and (I think) one of our greatest Dutch composers, Simeon ten Holt. If you like this (still unfinished) piece, you should definitely check him out! Cheers :)

Wow, I love this! It is like Philip Glass, but more musical! The asymetric time signature give the whole piece an odd canter - fantastic!
