Few days ago I had a chance to record the noise of an oxygen tank being refilled.
Besides the burst of white noise that was coming out of it, when the pressure was changing I could also hear a high pitched whistling tone, changing like the overtones of a flute.
I thought it was a really cool set of noises and decided to create a sound design/cinematic piece out of that.
Obviously, each element you'll hear has gone through several steps of sound processing, but I intentionally didn't use any additional sound, I wanted to see how much I could get out of that original take.
