Start of musical career: 2001.

When Diamos Roll was a child there was a lot of music around. At home there has always music being played, jazz, rock, classics. As a student he has got stuck into electronic music literally ‘eating’ all the stuff which could be found on that period. At the same time he started djing with cassettes and cds, as well as making his first steps in creating his own music which was fully eclectic in style, from trip-hop to jazz, from rock to techno. The first LP “Ejphorius” was a limited release in 2002.

Later on, there was a period of close collaboration with like-minded friends, including the musical project 3ZA. With his friend Alexey Dovnar (Heinz Troy), Diamos Roll created one of the most successful electronic-live bands in Belarus – CherryVata. Dmitry has been its producer and inspirer so far.

At the same time Dmitry is creating music for promos, fashion shows, theater, as well as being engaged in remixing. As a DJ he tends to make his sets eclectic, multifaceted though instrumental hip-hop, funk, new jazz still remain to be the main line.

Both with CherryVata and solo Diamos Roll shared the stage with Jimi Tenor, Camouflage, Hybrid, Banco de Gaia, The Herbaliser, Dusty, Jon Kennedy, Dj Format, performed with Karl Frierson (De Phazz).

In 2009 he founded an independent creative circle named Ezhevika which is engaged in making shows and cultural events for promoting freedom of creativity and expression. In 2011 having stored plenty of ideas and enough musical stuff he decided to make a solo project. EP “Rosecode” on Ultra Vague Recordings should become the official start of the project.
