DevuzData learned to play classical guitar at age 7 and then trumpet at age 8. He continued to play trumpet through High School and went on to audition in NY to join an orchestra and earned the second chair. He toured with the orchestra for a year playing numerous concerts though-out Europe. During this time, he played under the conduction of Ennio Morricone for the soundtrack "State Of Grace". He also played trumpet in the military and was flown on a weekly basis to Washington D.C. to play at funerals during his first year.
DevuzData later went into business for himself as a web designer and had clients like Warner Brothers, The Discovery and Science Channels. He created Flash content for websites and also produced the sounds and music using Sony Acid. He also worked with musicians and bands to better their styles and also designed album covers.
Later, DevuzData touched bases back in the orchestra world by befriending Cathy Lenski (the Academy award winning musician for the E.T. soundtrack) and she welcomed him into her world where he was able to meet and work with the minimalist composer Philip Glass at the Cabrillo Music Festival in Santa Cruz, California.
In 2009 DevuzData started DJ'ing house parties as a favor and eventually he started upgrading his equipment and started doing more parties, including college parties. He was then asked by a friend in the Reggae scene if he would play at several shows. During those shows, he learned to adapt to the new style and became interested in Dubstep.
He attempted to play his first Dubstep set in Pismo Beach, CA and failed miserably, but he went home and practiced and eventually hooked up with crews running shows on the beach in Ventura, CA. Due to being extremely nervous, DevuzData put on make-up to cover his fear and it stuck with him.
He has opened with MC Pillow for Tha Dogg Pound, opened for THEE-O, SonicC and Mr. Skeleton and headlined shows in Ventura, Long Beach and Orange County. He has also gotten the thumps up by Bodyrox when they wrote him and said they love his work and always look forward to hearing new mixes.
