Underground singer/songwriter Lukas Devita was one of the initiators of acoustic psychedelic rock in Lithuania with cosmic and mystical lyrics (written in English).

As well he published articles and gave free lectures in LUNI (Open University of Vilnius) on British and American early psychedelic music/art. Eventually the book on the subject "Sound Flowers" (2012) was published in Lithuanian language.
Lukas Devita also co-authored the first sizeable book on history of Lithuanian rock music (2011).

Experimental 'one-man project' - d e v i t a was established as sound laboratory and form of study with acoustic instruments and electronics.

Some instrumental 'toy-albums' were produced starting with ASTRALIA (dream records,2006).
Next one, LIBRARY TAPES:SKETCHES FOR THE SYNTH SOUND FESTIVAL ON MARS (dream records,2007) was completed from the tracks performed exclusively on Polivox synthesiser (Soviet instrument made around 1985 in military factories). Some pieces form the collection became the basic tapes for Oliver Kersbergen of Sleepyard (Norway) to re-create and expand it to the ambient album WALL OF CONFUSION.
SPACE DUTY (dream records, 2008) consists remixes of 'intuitive piano takes and some old guitar tracks' and is closest to vinyl pop art.
In Spring of 2013 a split compact cassette is realeased by Agharta label (based in Lithuania) presenting Sleepyard- "WALL OF CONFUSION" on one side and devita-"CELESTIAL HALFWAY" on the other - special mixes for the tape (30min. X2)
