devil named Jones write and perform original psychedelic rock and heavy soul music. Robert's elegant and compelling vocal lines float above the powerful rhythm section provided by guitarist Jim Chase, Bassist Justus Näthler and Drummer Julien Lasala.
Coming together in the cosmopolitan melting pot of Berlin, these four diverse characters find a commonality in the music they create together. Their combination of Groove Rock, Soul and Funk has a unique power to move people with its explosive rhythms, inventive melodies and evocative lyrics. The vibrant international culture and thriving music scene in Berlin has proved to be an exciting muse for the band, and the party impulse and driving energy of the city has subtly worked its way into their music.
The band has quickly progressed from playing smaller venues in Berlin to renowned clubs like Lido, Sage Club, Astra, Maria, SO36 and White Trash.
The band are excited about the future as they prepare for the recording of their second album and are looking forward to heading out on tour. Their new material represents a harder and more angular turn for the band and the boys are excited and full of energy.
