Singer, Dj, Songwriter, Music Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist.

Coming from Middle Eastern and Pakistani origins, I was brought up on Qawwali, Folk, Punjabi, Ghazal and Indian Classical Music. I also take a lot of inspiration from Jazz, Blues, Soul, Hip-Hop and Electronic Music.

I have been singing since at a young age, and being the first Desi Artist to represent Atlantic Canada singing in various languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Tamil and English.

I bring all my learning, influences, experiences, writings and present it through many genres of music.

The fundamentals to many of my works is to bridge the ideas from South Asia and blend it with many sounds from around the world to which I call this experiment ‘Desi Spin’.
