This is a recording I did in 2003 (back when I used to practice) A wonderful piece by Dušan Bogdanović, a fantastic Hungarian composer. The sound of the guitar is achieved by a bit of "preparation" in which bits of paper and paper clip are used to emulate the sound of a Kora (traditional African harp-like instrument) This piece includes some really interesting polyrhythmic sections. Certainly fun and challenging to play.

@Derek Cornett: Towner used that trick on "The Veldt" didn't he? Your emulation sounds fantastic, I really didn't know which it was (kora or prepared guitar) until you told me. :)

@Dave McKeown: Hey Dave... really appreciate that! Yes 'twas a nasty little undertaking, but the polyrhythms were written in such a way that all I had to do was play what was in front of me without thinking too much. Beautiful idea an concept. Love Dusan!!!!
