Beeps, Beats and Soundtracks from East Cork.

My name is Denis Clifford. I am a producer and musician based in East Cork. Although I play drums and fiddle, I use more electronic media in my compositions and create minimal/ambient/soundtrack music as well as deep and jazz-influenced house.

In July 2011 I was fortunate enough to be selected by Steve Reich as winner of the Drumming Remix competition, held as part of the Reich Effect Festival by Cork Opera House. Original pieces have been played by DJs and Producers on Motion FM, RTE Pulse, RTE Lyric FM, Raidio na Gaeltachta, Cork's Red FM, CRY 104FM and other syndicated stations around Europe and Worldwide.

I remix under the name "Carabas".

I like to work with visual images and other sources of inspiration and create sounds that reflect these influences. I jam sounds around as in a live setting and usually end up with a part finished idea from these "live" sessions. Enjoy.
