We are very exited to anounce the release of Dengue Dengue Dengue´s first album titled: La Alianza Profana (“The Unholy Alliance"). The unique sound of this production is a fusion of several elements like the psychedelic sounds of Peruvian 70's cumbia, the deep basslines of dub and UK Bass combined with elements of techno and dancehall. The visual element is key in their dj/live shows, using always handcrafted masks and insane video animations, embracing perfectly that tropical and psychedelic journey which creates an explosive energy in the dancefloor. This shows generated a solid fan base even before they started releasing tracks.
2012 has been an amazing year for the masked duo, they have been booked to play at major events and festivals, sharing stage with artists such as Calle 13, Manu Chao, Bomba Estereo or Mad Professor, among others; they have also been invited to perform at NOVA 2012 in Sao Paulo, Brazil (http://rojoprojects.co/nova) one of the most important festivals of contemporary culture.

Now, finally, and after near two years in the studio, Dengue Dengue Dengue! present their first official release, an album with 11 original cuts, which takes cumbia into new exiting territories. Tracks like "Don Marcial" or "Rayos Cumbicos" take us into a mystical digital journey, while tunes like “Alpha & Omega” and “Chacalom” mix cumbia with contemporary tendencies like Trap or Uk Bass. There are also dub elements everywhere in this album, specially in “Dumbia Murdahs” and even a sonic acid Tribal Guarachero track, “La Alianza Profana”.

This release comes hand in hand with their first video: "Simiolo", directed by Mikael Stornfelt (Chita Films), that in three minutes, shares with us that dementia which is included in all the different visual sensations behind the mask.

The album "La Alianza Profana" will be available on october 12th as a digital download via itunes and on CD throu the Auxiliar website, record label which will introduce very interesting an exciting artists from Peru in their upcoming releases.
