Demie is a young nu-jazz / house / dnb producer from Eastern Europe, Estonia.
Making music began as a hobby for him, experimenting with different genres, but mostly with drum and bass.
In 2009 Demie started to produce more seriously and his music got influenced by jazz, deep house and ambient sounds.
It was in the same year when he wrote a liquid dnb track called „Can’t Say No”, released by Canadian label In Da Jungle Recordings. In addition to that, he and his friend DJ Hash made a dnb remix from a local rap song. The remix turned out to be very popular in Estonia and it even received „Demo Of The Week” award from Estonian national radio station, Raadio 2.
But for Demie, making just one style of music isn’t enough – his longtime love for jazz and house music lead to his debut nu-jazz/downtempo EP called „Can You Hear Me” under the New York-based label Vibe Boutique Records.
