Anybody remember the old game "Magic Pockets"?
-
@Shatterfreak: don't think so, but the name sure rings a bell, mayb i repressed the memory, wat was it all about? :)
-
@Demeter: Speed King in the Spectrum
- Shatterfreak on September 15, 2009 22:51
@siriken: Oh it was badass, you skulked around in a cave fighting monsters, throwing shit at them from your bottom less pockets in your baggy trousers. This would have been perfect music for the vibe. It was cool as fuck.
-
@Shatterfreak: thnx man, don't rember it but, it sounds awesome, thnx 4 the compliment, think i was influenced by snes emulator action ;)
- Shatterfreak on September 15, 2009 23:07
@Demeter: No worries, it's a freaking brilliant tune. Loving it. And i still say the old games rocked harded. Give me Jet Set Radio anyday!

that low frequency bass is killer, think the drums could be made nice and evil for it as well if you wanted to make it into a louder tune. Nice work though. :)

@critic: i do agree that it could be shorter, hell, the samples are so good in this song you make a tighter track that focused more on their use and execution instead of trying to force too much dubstep...but that critic guy needs to shut up about artistic responsibility - you are responsible only to yourself as an artist, not to a randomer's dream world, and you should be proud of this track, even if at the very least it is a stepping stone to greater things.
-
@The Great Red Shark: Thanks,' well said that man', loving ur tunes, fresh dude!
-
@critic: Thanks for your honesty and for taking the time to listen and offer your feedback, some thing to think about.
- The Great Red Shark on June 26, 2009 21:05
@critic: "artists always feel that they can just dump their emotional woes upon others and think it is ok"
- The Great Red Shark on June 26, 2009 21:06
@critic: aren't you doing the exact same thing? dumping your emotional woes of a crippled society onto the laps of musicians everywhere?
