About

Definition are a London based 3 piece rock/pop band. Mike Perry from Bexleyheath in Kent. on Drums & vocals. John Galea from Norfolk, on keys & lead vocals, and Paul O'Gorman from Hertfordshire, on guitar & lead vocals. Forming in 2008, after answering an advert Mike had put in The Stage, the lads soon realised they had great chemistry together. They all input into the
writing and arranging of their songs and now have over 2 albums worth of songs ready to go. Their main influences are Maroon 5, The Script, Duran Duran and have a contemporary pop sound, borrowing elements of retro 80’s music. The last two years, have been spent writing from home and getting together for weekly rehearsals. Very soon they began gigging in and around London’s prestigious venues such as O2 Academy, The Coben Club and Café De Paris. After receiving many positive responses and offers of management, they felt they needed continue to develop and find their sound, so started to look for producers to help them record their material. In the last few months they hooked up with established pop producer David Brant/Vybrant Music and locked themselves away in the studio to record two of their songs ‘If Looks Could Kill’ and ‘I’m Gonna Be’. This year Definition continue to step up the pace, with more writing, recording and future gigs. Hungry for that golden opportunity, Definition are determined find their dream record deal.
