After putting together this compilation to showcase new and existing Definite Ridge artists it became apparent that there was a sinister but sweet underlying edge to the tracks selected, hence the name 'Dark Side Of the Studio'.

Stylistically the compilation shifts from from jackin' and deep to funk and tech but it retains a unifying vibe through out and makes for a great introduction for the artists who are new to the label.
