In February of 2011, four of Orlando's up and coming young producer/DJs came together to create DEFEP. DEFEP was formed on the premise of fusing together several different genres of electronic dance music in order to create a distinct big room sound. Elements of house, progressive house, electro, and even dubstep can be found throughout DEFEP's music. DEFEP not only showcases their trademark high energy through their music production, but also through live performances. The members of DEFEP have shared the stage with some of the largest names in electronic dance music, these include: Laidback Luke, Avicii, Sander Van Doorn, Above and Beyond, Wolfgang Gartner, Steve Angello, Steve Aoki, Diplo, Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Robbie Rivera, Funkagenda, LA Riots, Nero, Mord Fustang and Figure.DEFEP also has played at Electric Daisy Carnival and currently holds residency at one of Orlando's largest electro nights, Riot!.
