The latest from Defected Records, Phil Agosta’s ‘Lonely’ comes accompanied with remixes from the likes of the accomplished minds of Gene Farris and House of Virus. Agosta is no stranger to the industry with over twenty years experience, but even with such an unyielding history he has a glowing future. Praised for his unique style, the Detroit raised producer brings a pinch of techno to his interpretation of house, and ‘Lonely’ is the epitome of what he plans to bring to the table this summer, with powerful vocals from fellow Detroit resident La Rae Starr.

Fellow American house veteran Gene Farris delivers a crisp alternative take on the track providing a softer more tranquil vibe. Farris manages to be successful in blending La Rae Starr’s enchanting vocals with an immersive and deeper production which he unsurprisingly executes with true elegance.

The other mixes come from British based duo House Of Virus, a collaboration between Virus J and Dirty Orkestra, and their infectious adaptation of ‘Lonely’ can be added to an established back catalogue of remixes including the likes of Rui Da Silva and Deep Forest.
