Federico Parigi aka Defbeat, was born in the Italian town of Turin in 1988. His dj career started in late highschool when he developed a strong passion for electronic music and got a chance to get his hands on his first CDJs and soon after also on vinyls. He began DJing in the Italian city in many clubs, which include The Beach, Patio Club, Suono, Jam Club and many more. At age 20 he began producing and had instant success releasing with labels such as Move The Masses, Hype Muzik, Revolucion Records and Senssual Records.
After moving to London for his studies in DIgital Audio and Music Systems Engineering, he got hired as a showcase DJ in London for Senssual Records. 2010 saw Defbeat as a Senssual Records resident DJ at Ministry Of Sound (on saturday nights) and has allowed him to play for events like Defected In The House, Objektivity, Global Underground, We love and to play with DJs such as Dennis Ferrer, Funkagenda, Wally Lopez, Martinez Bros., Christian Varela, Arno Cost, Michael Woods, DJ Gregory, Tensnake and more.
