New unsigned tune. Some work still to be done, but very happy with it so far. It's my fIrst track using Max4Live, especially the sequencer worked wonders on my Prophet 08. Martin Hirsch's project Deer can best be summed up as Detroit-influenced House that draws on found sounds, organic synths and engaging emotional tensions. dancefloor.
Deer has played live across Europe, playing gigs with a diverse set of artists like Kangding Ray, Alva Noto, Deaf Center and Move D. Martin also runs the record label Neo Ouija, teaches music technology courses and runs a recording/mastering studio. Whenever possible he teams up with Dwig to deliver a unique blend of live House and Techno to the dancefloor.
His discography so far includes remixes for Metamatics (Hydrogen Dukebox), Estroe feat. Miss Kittin (Connaisseur Recordings) and a collaboration with Norken for Combination Records, as well as various compilation contributions. A 12" on Giegling Records will be available in Q1/10.
