About

Growing up in London Spencer T aka Deeshizzol was exposed to a lot of different styles of music Rare Groove, Disco, Electro, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop....In the summer of 89 Deepshizzol like millions of others got involved in the new music scene that was sweeping the world... House Muisc!!It was around this time that Deepshizzol played his rst DJ set on a set of decks with only one pitch control between two decks. Deepshizzol went on to organise parties with friends at secret locations and all over the south coast. Completely inspired and captivated by the buzz of DJing to an audience that loved House Music as much as him, Deepshizzol started pushing for DJ work all over the country and also opened a Record shop called Urban Wax which he ran successfully for over 3 years.

With access to all the latest promos and dub plates Deepshizzol became a regular at raves all overthe South Coast and London. With all this going on Deepshizzol and the Urban Productions promotion team still found time to give birth to a monthly sell out night called BLISS which gave him the opportunity to play alongside Sister Bliss (Faithless) Smokin Jo, Billy Nasty, to name a few. Whilst continuing to rock dance oors at events such as Storm, Passion, Heat, Mantra, Dance91, Best of British, Perception and Bagley’s, Deepshizzol secured himself a bi weekly residency at the Infamous "Interdance/ Sterns" Night Club. It was here that Spencer T/ Deepshizzol ended up playing alongside some of his idols. In 1991 Deepshizzol was given his first break in the studio by Jack Smooth. They came together to form “Rush till Dawn” and went on to produce 5 E.Ps on Basement records called “The Hedgehog Aairs”

2012/13 Deepshizzol is back in the Studio!!

More recently DeepShizzol joined forces with 3 good friends to start a successful promotion team called Back2Jack Promotions putting on events called Chicaboom in clubs all over the country including Ministry of Sound (London) The Mud Club (Bournemouth) The End, The Funktion Rooms, playing Deep House alongside some of the scenes most inuential players. More recently Deepshizzol has been back in the studio to produce his 1st release in over 10 years “They Can’t Stop” on the legendary UK based Cross Section Records. With support from some of the major players in the scene, and bubbling around in the top 10 Deep House charts for over 6 weeks, this was a welcome return to the House scene. Deepshizzol has also put his melodic but hard edged deep techy stamp on Michael McLardy’s “About Last Night” on “Save Me Records”. While also releasing tracks on Cross Section Records, Aspect Audio, Headtunes, Midwest Hustle. Pole Position and more recently Beats Me Music. While still holding strong to his house roots Deepshizzzol has been delving into Nu Disco / Galatic Funk sounds, the very genre that inspired him ll those years ago, so expect some slo mo jams from him later on in the year..
