DJ philE and Alex B. Groove are the executive producers and creators of the Deep House Cat Show, a free house music podcast. philE and Alex play numerous genres ranging from Deep, Soulful, Funky House to Minimal, Tech and Progressive House, while focusing on new digital releases and promos.

philE, based in Chicago, has been DJing since 1986 and was inspired to start mixing when he came across his first vinyl from D.J. International and Trax Records.
philE describes one of his most memorable DJ moments spinning at Tyree Cooper’s after-hour party at the OZ club in Stuttgart, Germany back in 1989. During the 90s he has worked in numerous clubs in Europe and the U.S. Since 1999 he primarily focuses on studio work with a few live gigs per year at selected clubs and events.

Alex, based in Cologne, Germany, started playing acid and tech-house records in 1995. He played his first payed gigs at the age of sixteen in the south of Germany.
At the age of 18 he became a member of the famous “Flokati Allstars” in Munich.
In this time he played together with djs like Tobi Neumann, Ian Pooley, Boris Dlugosch and many others. In 2012 he became a part of the DHCS team and now creates the DHCS together with philE.

The Deep House Cat Show produces exclusive sets for SSRadio (UK), MixPeople FM (Spain), House FM (Japan), GABZ FM 96.2 (Botswana), Big FM (Germany) and also can be heard all over the world on stations like Chicago House
Radio (U.S.), Housebox (Lithuania), Tonic FM (France), audiogrooves (Brazil), Straight Up (Australia), Dancevoort FM (Netherlands), Fuzion Radio (UK) and many more FM/AM and online stations.
