Created by Marcio Martinez and Weslei Pontes, the Deep Podcast project was born from the "Deep Drum'n'Bass + Influences" party, which had its first edition in February/2009 with the goal of bringing culture, quality music and information to the crowds. The party, and its natural extension, the Podcast, highlight the best of drum'n'bass sub genres such as Deep, Liquid Funk, Soulful and Jazzy, as well as tracks that have influenced electronic music since the beginning - and that still do. 70's Soul Funk, Nu Jazz, Latin, Brokenbeat, Hip Hop, Fusion (Hip Hop + Jazz), Brazilian music and much more also go in the mix. Deep Podcast's premise is to blend the old and the new, bringing together past, present and future in one musical landscape.
