Steve Arrington learned Latin percussion and drumming in 1976 and played with Coke Escovedo, Pete Escovedo & Sheila E. before joining the funk group Slave in 1978 . After 1982 he went solo releasing five albums between 1983-1987, his most successful being “Dancin' In The Key Of Life” in 1985.

Taken from this album, "Feel So Real" tore London’s nightclubs apart proving to be his biggest hit in the UK where it reached #6 in the Pop Chart. It also was a huge club favourite in the USA where it peaked #5 on the Hot Club Play chart.
