Hello visitor. You might wonder where all my stuff has gone. Well Soundcloud is now steadily removing all my mixes for 'copyright violation'. Basically, I've used other peoples tracks in my mixes. Well duh. As a result I have decided that soundcloud is now a total waste of money and have moved all my mixes to Mixcloud because it costs me nothing yet they pay royalty fees to ensure that DJs can still make and distribute mixes (just like podcasts) for the love of doing it. I make no money from DJing and never have - in fact over the years it has cost me thousands of pounds but I do it for the love of the music. Sadly I cannot now let people download my mixes to enjoy away from an internet connection because a paid for service can't come to a blanket arrangement for the hosting of mixes. I suspect this is the beginning of the end for a large proportion of Soundcloud's business as it was DJs who led the way and popularised it as a platform.

Also, I hate the 'new' Soundcloud site with a passion because it is slow, clunky, broken, garish, stupid and so user-unfriendly for content creators that there just isn't a good reason to continue to use it.

Thanks for readin

PS I may still be able to arrange for mixes to be available to download on request.
