Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Thai/Italian veteran model Debbie Klongtruadroke Scott is no stranger to performing. Her singing career has led her to grace many stages in various continents, while Thailand remembers her performances with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra conducted by the renowned Maestro Shardad Rohani, and alongside world class artists such as Steinway pianist Nat Yontararak.
Following years as a background vocalist, guest artist, and co-writer for several Thai singers such as Khan Thaitanium, Mai Charoenpura, and John NUVO, Debbie released her first eponymous Thai album in 2005. The year 2006 saw the release of the Italian album “Angolo di Cuore”, after her first place win at the national singing/songwriting
competition Sabaoth Music Festival in Milan, in which the famous Ornella Vanoni was a judge. After signing to the American label North Records, her first international
album “Crossover” was released in 2007. It was followed by its Spanish version, titled ‘Imaginación’, which debuted in Latin America that same year.
“All This (For Me)”, the second single launched from “Crossover” is still now
being played by radio stations all across the USA, after having topped the Christian
Radio Indie Chart for fourteen consecutive weeks, while the 'Imagination' remix, the first single, jumped to N. 5 on the CRW IAA Chart just four weeks after its release. Having successfully managed to amass a portfolio of songs performed in four different languages, Debbie has also lately sung background vocals for singles released by H.R.H Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya.
Furthermore, she is the voice of the theme song for the worldwide new 3D release of “Superbook”, a renowned Christian Animated Series aired since the ‘80s, ranked #2 on The Top 8 Christian Cartoon Series List. Since 2003, Debbie has been co-hosting CBN Siam’s TV show ‘Jak Jai Tueng Jai (From Heart to Heart)’ which is aired weekly on NBT.
Her love for music compels her to impart her knowledge, artistry, and experience to her students at Superstar Academy, where she taught for two years as a Voice Master Teacher and Performance Coach. At the moment, Debbie teaches the same subjects at the prestigious Shrewsbury International School, known throughout South East Asia for their excellent Music Department.
